eikcam ceramics is designed and handmade by Vancouver artist / designer, Grace Lee. Her work is both functional and also decorative and incorporates elements of naturalness and whimsy all hand built, one slab at a time. Her approach to design works in a layered simplicity often uncomplicated and unveiled. Inspiration comes through her use of raw clay bodies and unglazed surfaces complemented by subtle textures and hues. Grace finds her influences of her Korean heritage and also growing up on the West coast naturally woven into her forms, motifs, and palette of glazes.
